My Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning Journey

Yasmine’s Kaplan Graduation

Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to celebrate completing my Kaplan Professional Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning! 🎓 The course covers everything from investment strategies, superannuation, risk management, retirement planning, and ethical frameworks, giving graduates the practical tools to guide others in managing money confidently. Completing it was a huge step in my journey, and attending the graduation in person made the achievement even more special.

My Journey to Financial Confidence

I was honoured to be a guest speaker at the ceremony, where I shared my personal journey. My speech focused on overcoming adversity, discovering my passion for finance, and figuring out what financial planning truly involves. It was about navigating challenges, learning the industry, and ultimately building a path that led me to create My Financial Future. This platform is designed to help young Australians develop financial literacy, understand budgeting, saving, and investing, and build confidence to make informed money decisions.

Sharing My Financial Future

Shortly after graduation, I had the privilege of presenting My Financial Future at the Kaplan Symposium of Learning and Teaching. It was an incredible opportunity to show educators and students how our workshops and courses equip young Australians with the knowledge and skills to take control of their finances 🎥

Kaplan Symposium of Learning and Teaching

Graduation and the symposium reinforced why I started this journey: to empower young people to see money as a tool for independence and opportunity. Every workshop, every conversation, and every student who gains financial confidence reminds me that education and action are the keys to meaningful outcomes. I’m excited to keep growing My Financial Future, sharing knowledge, and helping the next generation navigate their financial journeys with confidence ✨
