We’re proud to share that My Financial Future is one of 50 businesses across New South Wales selected to receive the WEConnect International Women Owned Business certification, fully funded through the NSW Government.

What the WEConnect certification is
The WEConnect certification is an internationally recognised, three-year qualification that signals credibility and opens up opportunities, allowing buyer organisations around the world to connect with more women-owned businesses.
WEConnect selected 50 women-owned businesses across New South Wales, recognising the diversity, expertise and innovation they bring to their industries. The certification aims to create greater opportunities for women by connecting their businesses with a wider network.
Celebrating alongside 49 other women-owned businesses
Sharing this achievement with 49 other women-owned businesses was both inspiring and encouraging. Seeing the passion, dedication and ambition behind each business was a powerful reminder of why recognition matters for women-led enterprises. It was also a chance to reflect on My Financial Future’s mission, and on how far we have come.
What it means for FinReady
For My Financial Future, this certification means we can keep growing as a business by expanding our workshops. It will help us reach more young Australians with financial literacy education by increasing the number of FinReady workshops we deliver.
That means more young people learning why money skills matter, in a safe and encouraging environment where they can build practical knowledge they will actually use.
Thank you, and what comes next
Recognition like this belongs to more than one business. It is a win for every women-led enterprise putting in the hard work behind the scenes. A huge thank you to WEConnect International and the NSW Government for making this pilot possible.
Now it’s back to the work that matters most to us: more workshops, more classrooms, and more young Australians walking out of a session knowing exactly what to do with their money. That’s what making money make sense looks like.
You can read more about the pilot in the NSW Government’s media release on the first WEConnect engagement session. If you’d like to bring FinReady to your school or organisation, get in touch with our team.
